About Dieback
Dieback is my small attempt to journal the Anthropocene*. I write articles that offer original, incisive thought into humanity and its relationship with Earth’s life-support system. In the least I hope Dieback will operate as a digital time-capsule of personal vindication to be dug up by a future remnant society who glares indignantly at its forebear’s failing to deal with a crisis. In the most I wish to impart a melding of critical thinking, fresh ideas, new values, hope and inspiration, so that you, whoever you may be, fundamentally believe not only that a Habitable Earth is infinitely possible, but that it is in your and everyone else’s best interest, faculties and power to lead us there.
* the current age, viewed as the period during which human activity has had the greatest influence on climate and the environment.
